I want to collect kimonos. Vintage and antique kimonos. This one is courtesy of The Japanese Shop. It is antique and I am wearing an obi belt from them too.

Wearing a kimono forces you to stand a certain way, walk a certain way. Here I am wearing this one with a pair of vintage Bally shoes. The headpiece was from Ebay. It always gets a lot of compliments. It feels a little Geisha here with the kimono.

Have you ever worn a kimono? What are your thoughts? Japan is on my list of to visit countries. The culture, the people, the country.

When i was growing up there was ‘Oshin’ on the TV. I did not finish watching the series. Are you familiar with it? I remember the strength of character that ‘Oshin’ the lead character had. I need to find it and watch it.
