I want to live in a red house. Where everything from my couch to my bedding and curtains are read. I never realised that I found the colour red so inspiring. It is good to surround yourself with what inspires you. I am looking to move home this year and the plan is to buy red everything. It might be a lot for some but if I had my way, my home would be as red as the late Diana Vreeland’s red living room. Decorated by the incredible Billy Baldwin, just seeing photos of the space makes me happy.

As a creative I have seen the power of surrounding yourself with that which makes you dream and achieve. So I am really looking forward putting to putting together my new place. I’m thinking lots of floral reds (curtain, couch, bedding, cushions etc) layered on each other.

Borrowing from Diana Vreeland I will refer to my future home as a red garden (Vreeland famously referred to her living room as ‘a garden in hell’).
